Job Description
- Assists in providing infection surveillance, prevention, and control to identify and reduce the risks of acquiring and transmitting infections among patients, staff members, contract workers, volunteers, students, and visitors.
- Assists in providing education to all staff and daily surveillance to reduce the risk of acquisition or transmission of Health Care Associated Infections (HAI).
- As directed, conducts infection control risk assessments of all construction areas and critical care areas.
- Conducts daily rounds of clinical areas to review any HAI and other risk factors.
- Conducts weekly rounds of the HCC to ensure compliance with Infection Control guidelines.
- Assists the Infection Control Supervisor and Senior Infection Control Specialist in overseeing the Hand Hygiene Surveillance Program.
- Assists in preparing and analyzing the monthly Infection Control Report.
- Serves as a consultant to services and groups to resolve infection control related issues.
Skills
- Current Certification in Infection Control (CIC) is required .

Government Jubail, Saudi Arabia https://www.rchsp.med.sa/Pages/default.aspxتأسست الهيئة الملكية للجبيل وينبع بموجب مرسوم ملكي أصدره جلالة الملك خالد بن عبدالعزيز آل سعود ـ يرحمه الله - في 16 رمضان عام 1395هـ الموافق 21 سبتمبر عام 1975م. وجاء في المرسوم الملكي: (تشكل هيئة ملكية لتنفيذ خطة التجهيزات الأساسية اللازمة لإعداد منطقتي الجبيل وينبع كمنطقتين صناعيتين ويكون لهذه الهيئة شخصية معنوية مستقلة). كما خصصت للهيئة الملكية ميزانية مستقلة لتنفيذ أعمالها. The Royal Commission for Jubail and Yanbu was established as per a Royal Decree issued by HM King Khalid - May Allah have mercy upon him - in 21 September 1975 (16 Ramadan 1395H). The Royal Decree read “A Royal Commission shall be formed to execute the necessary infrastructure plan for the preparation of Jubail and Yanbu Cities as industrial areas. The Commission shall have an independent legal personality”. An independent budget was dedicated for the Royal Commission.
