Purpose of Job

1.1. Responsible for the organization’s day–to-day operations in his areas of responsibility. This includes the maintenance of the physical facility, financial management, quality management, and other responsibilities.
1.2. Cooperates with the organization’s managers to define the organization’s mission and plan the policies, procedures, and clinical services related to that mission.
1.3. Responsible for the organization’s
1.3.1. Compliance with applicable law and regulation;
1.3.2. Response to any reports from inspecting and regulatory agencies
1.3.3. Processes to manage and control human, financial, and other resources in his areas of responsibility.

 

Job-Specific Administrative Tasks


1. Prepares administrative policies and procedures.
2. Participates in the Hospital Management Committees meetings and attends all executive committee meetings.
3. Manages subordinate department managers who supervise staff members in multiple departments including Technical Affairs, Contract Administrator, Fire and Safety, Support Services, Patient Affairs and Medical Records.
4. Works closely with the Quality Management Departments in meeting Central Board of Accreditation for Health Institutes (CBAHI) and Joint Commission International (JCI) requirements.
5. Acts as Executive Managing Director liaison to directors and managers for daily operational decisions.
6. Ensures maintenance of physical properties in good and safe state of repair and operation.
7. Ensures that the hospital maintains accreditation, licensing and quality patient care through the establishment of performance improvement monitoring programs and standards.
8. Ability to direct the preparation of short term and long range plans and budgets (operational and capital) based on royal commission goals and growth objectives.
9. Responsible for the overall direction, coordination and evaluation of the subordinate units / departments.

10. Ensures that the responsibilities, authorities and accountability of all direct subordinates are defined and understood.
11. Prepares a plan for the achievement of the hospital’s specific objectives and mutually established goals and periodically reviews and evaluates such plan. Said plan shall at all times reflect the hospital’s mission statement and be in accordance with the ethics and goals of the hospital.
12. Presents to the hospital executive committee periodic reports reflecting the services and financial activities of the hospital and such special reports as may be required by the Board
13. Recommends policies to the Executive Managing Director and Ensures compliance with approved policies.
14. Ensures compliance with applicable standards, law and regulation.
15. Responds to any reports from inspecting and regulatory agencies.
16. Ensures that operating policies and procedures conform to current regulatory requirements.
17. Motivates and manages subordinates staff to ensure that performance standards are met or exceeded.
18. Works with directors and managers to measure, assess and improve productivity and services and evaluates the results of overall operations regularly and systematically and reports these results to the executive managing director.
19. Encourages staff to participate in external activities related to professional goals.
20. Recognizes and analyzes the implications of new situations and develops workable solutions to maintain productivity and moral.
21. Gives timely and constructive feedback on performance; documents all corrective counseling.
22. Acts as a role model in demonstrating the customer service standards of the organization.
23. Attends weekly Executive Management meetings
24. Meets with directors and managers weekly on an individual basis to discuss projects, goals and departmental objectives.
25. Attends departmental staff meetings on a quarterly basis to keep staff apprised of changes in organizational and departmental policies.

تأسست الهيئة الملكية للجبيل وينبع بموجب مرسوم ملكي أصدره جلالة الملك خالد بن عبدالعزيز آل سعود ـ يرحمه الله - في 16 رمضان عام 1395هـ الموافق 21 سبتمبر عام 1975م. وجاء في المرسوم الملكي: (تشكل هيئة ملكية لتنفيذ خطة التجهيزات الأساسية اللازمة لإعداد منطقتي الجبيل وينبع كمنطقتين صناعيتين ويكون لهذه الهيئة شخصية معنوية مستقلة). كما خصصت للهيئة الملكية ميزانية مستقلة لتنفيذ أعمالها. The Royal Commission for Jubail and Yanbu was established as per a Royal Decree issued by HM King Khalid - May Allah have mercy upon him - in 21 September 1975 (16 Ramadan 1395H). The Royal Decree read “A Royal Commission shall be formed to execute the necessary infrastructure plan for the preparation of Jubail and Yanbu Cities as industrial areas. The Commission shall have an independent legal personality”. An independent budget was dedicated for the Royal Commission.
