Administrative Specialist

- Performs complex administrative support for the supervisor that requires interpretation and judgment to include creating spreadsheets, forms and reports.

- Plans, coordinate and schedules activities.

- Develops and maintains a divisional records management system which includes a variety of projects, correspondence and legislative records.

- Prepares proposal for MASD Maintenance Contracts.

- Interacts with the Contractors and others outside the work unit to obtain and provide information and assistance in a variety circumstances.

- Involves in negotiating the contractual details, including specifications, price, date of delivery.

- Informs the Director of all the activities of the Contractor.

- Promotes effective working relations and works effectively as part of a department team inter and intra departmentally to facilitate the department ability to meet its goals and objectives.

- English proficiency (written and verbal).

- Computer literate.
