- Job Specific Tasks:

1.Designing, developing, testing and modifying biomedical products, equipment and devices;
2. Ensure the safety of equipment used for diagnosis, treatment and monitoring.
3. Investigate medical equipment failures and provide advice about the purchase and installation of new equipment.
4. Develop and evaluate quantitative models of biological processes and systems.
5. Applying electronic and measurement techniques on biomedical equipment.
6. Applying the latest technology to health care and health care systems in hospitals.
7. Biomedical engineers study, design, develop and evaluate biological and medical systems and products such as artificial organs, prostheses, medical instruments and information systems.
8. Evaluate the safety, efficiency, and effectiveness of biomedical equipment.
9. Install, adjust, maintain, and/or repair biomedical equipment. Perform and carries out repair and maintenance of medical equipment and particular responsibilities within the specialties of the appointee
10. Carry out planned preventive maintenance inspections, new Medical Equipment inspections and commission, in accordance with the department procedures.
11. Document all actions and test results according to department policy
12. Review patient care equipment safety alerts and recalls notice
13. Keep the necessity to continually develop skills and acquire additional knowledge appropriate to the position 14. Carries out the correction of the PPM procedure Update.
