Firefighter

Job purpose:

Carrying out firefighting and rescue operations at various facilities and premises of the Royal Commission.

Key responsibilities:

• Respond to emergencies and fire incidents.
• Prepare hoses and pumps, fight fires, climb and operate fire ladders, use fire extinguishers, and handle other firefighting equipment.
• Operate firefighting and rescue equipment and carry out assigned tasks.
• Provide search and rescue services in all forms.
• Maintain all types of portable fire extinguishers and fixed firefighting systems.
• Participate in providing first aid and assisting the injured.
• Comply with safety regulations and wear the required protective clothing.
• Ensure the readiness of firefighting and rescue equipment and devices.
• Report any damages or missing firefighting and rescue equipment to the section head.
• Maintain equipment in good condition in accordance with organizational policies and procedures.
• Maintain the cleanliness, order, and safety of the fire station.

• Time management, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in Arabic and English, spoken and written.
• Proficient in computer skills, with experience in using Microsoft Office tools or related software
