Category 1: Organizational Responsibilities (applicable to all staff)
1. Follow RCMC policy and procedure
2. Attends annual review and performs departmental in-services.
3. Prepare reports

6. Perform other duties related to the work as assigned by the Manager /supervisor as needed.
7. Works at maintaining a good rapport and a cooperative working relationship with Vendors, Physicians and Staff.
8. Maintains regulatory requirements, including all national and JCI regulations.

10. Ensures compliance with policies and procedures regarding department operations, fire, safety and infection control.

18. It is the duty of every employee to report any negative or abnormal or
unexpected event/incident as soon as possible after its occurrence by
filling the appropriate Occurrence Variance Report (OVR) form and
submitting it to the Quality Improvement Department (QID) after being
reviewed by the supervisor and/or head of department.

Subcategory 2.2: Job-Specific Technical Tasks (ONLY to be used with the
physicians, dentists, pharmacists, physiotherapists, nurses, clinical support
services technicians, engineers, TAD technicians, EMT staff)
1. Delivers total care to patient according to the standards of care
within the Department.
2. Ensures identification of the patient undergoing anesthesia is correct.
3. Checks laboratory investigations; compare the result within normal
limits and inform Anesthetist.
4. Ensures that the consent for surgery is signed and type of surgery to
be performed is specified and readable.
5. Assists in positioning of patient before, during and after surgery.
6. Correctly positions the operating lights before and during operations.
7. Initiates intravenous infusions.
8. Connects patient to monitoring devices.
9. Observes patient for potential reactions to anesthesia and report to
the Anesthetist promptly.
10. Monitors and records hemodynamic status of the patient.
11. Properly document time, drugs used and other pertinent information
in the anesthesia record.
12. Interacts and communicates effectively with other team members to
keep them informed of the changes in the patient’s condition.
13. Helps and sustain a quiet and orderly environment in the operating room during the entire operation.
14. Responsible of charging supplies utilized.
15. Provides skilled anesthetic assistance with selection of correct
equipment for anesthesia:
16. Proficient working knowledge of equipment, instrument for
anesthesia.
17. Checks all equipment before each use.
18. Monitors scavenging systems.
19. Ensures daily cleaning of equipment, maintenance and care.
20. Reports any equipment’s requiring maintenance repair.
21. Performs quantitative and qualitative test on anesthetic
machine/equipment.
22. Demonstrates maturity and accountability for job performance.
Supports the philosophy, objectives and goals of the department and
assesses areas of personal and professional growth.
23. Willingly accepts assignments to special projects.

مستشفى الهيئة الملكية بينبع Royal Commission Medical Center Yanbu
تأسست الهيئة الملكية للجبيل وينبع بموجب مرسوم ملكي أصدره جلالة الملك خالد بن عبدالعزيز آل سعود ـ يرحمه الله - في 16 رمضان عام 1395هـ الموافق 21 سبتمبر عام 1975م. وجاء في المرسوم الملكي: (تشكل هيئة ملكية لتنفيذ خطة التجهيزات الأساسية اللازمة لإعداد منطقتي الجبيل وينبع كمنطقتين صناعيتين ويكون لهذه الهيئة شخصية معنوية مستقلة). كما خصصت للهيئة الملكية ميزانية مستقلة لتنفيذ أعمالها. The Royal Commission for Jubail and Yanbu was established as per a Royal Decree issued by HM King Khalid - May Allah have mercy upon him - in 21 September 1975 (16 Ramadan 1395H). The Royal Decree read “A Royal Commission shall be formed to execute the necessary infrastructure plan for the preparation of Jubail and Yanbu Cities as industrial areas. The Commission shall have an independent legal personality”. An independent budget was dedicated for the Royal Commission.
