Category 1: Organizational Responsibilities (applicable to all staff)
1. Follow RCMC policy and procedure
2. Attends annual review and performs departmental in-services.
3. Prepare reports
4. Follow dress code
5. Adhere to the chain of command
6. Perform other duties related to the work as assigned by the Manager /supervisor as needed.
7. Works at maintaining a good rapport and a cooperative working relationship with Vendors, Physicians and Staff.
8. Maintains regulatory requirements, including all national and JCI regulations.
9. Wears identification while on duty
10. Ensures compliance with policies and procedures regarding department operations, fire, safety and infection control.
11. Communicates the mission, ethics and goals of the hospital
12. Excellent attendance record.
13. Represents the organization in a positive and professional manner in the community.
14. Maintains organizational confidentiality at all times.
15. Complies with all organizational policies regarding ethical business
practices
16. Resolves personnel concerns at the departmental level, utilizing the
grievance process as required.
17. Completes annual education requirement .
18. It is the duty of every employee to report any negative or abnormal or
unexpected event/incident as soon as possible after its occurrence by
filling the appropriate Occurrence Variance Report (OVR) form and
submitting it to the Quality Improvement Department (QID) after being
reviewed by the supervisor and/or head of department.
Category 2: Job-Specific Tasks:
Subcategory 2.1: Job-Specific Administrative Tasks
1. Maybe designated as Acting Supervisor in the absence of the Chief
Radiographic Technician.
2. Maintains daily records of all work done within the department.
3. Enters all services charge cost codes on the request/report forms.
4. Be innovative and assisting in radiographic technology methods
5. Can lead in crisis situation and direct the department with best practice.
6. Complies all the requested tasks based on the work needs
7. Apply other duties as required by the Chief RadiologistTechnologists.
Subcategory 2.2: Job-Specific Technical Tasks (ONLY to be used with the
physicians, dentists, pharmacists, physiotherapists, nurses, clinical support
services technicians, engineers, TAD technicians, EMT staff)
1. Responsible for performing all types of general X-rays inside and outside
the department and advanced radiological sciences such as C.T. Scan
M.R.I. Angiogram Nuclear Medicine and Ultrasound procedures in
accordance with established hospital procedures and based on the
department needs.
2. Responsible for delegated area of authority in performance of routine
procedures which require little or no supervision.
3. Responsible for performing other unrelated duties such as process x rays
films, maintain records of x-rays taken, stock of supplies and to help radiographic technicians in their work.
4. Responsible for performing unrelated duties which may be required
during emergencies
5. Participates in the department on-call rotation and cover based on the
needs.
6. Uses specific techniques and equipment to protect patients and hospital
personnel from the hazards of radiation.
7. Participates in the department on-call rotation and cover duties based
on the needs even for more than one modality.
8. Enters all service charge codes on the Request/Report form.
9. Apply QC in positioning, artifact and equipment malfunctioning errors.
10. Use the PACS system correctly includes: Patient and exam identify,
view, display, quality control and distribute the images from the
modalities.
11. Verify digital interfaces and network transmission.
12. Inspect and clean cassettes, imaging plates and anything related to the
infection control.
13. Clean display screens, computer components, modalities and all the
facilities related to the daily duty.
14. Participate in educational lectures and shared new update information
with the staff.
15. Any conflict or misunderstand regarding to the daily duties the reference
will be either internally consensus or externally accredited sources such
as Saudi FDA,ACR,SCHS…etc.
16. This technical Tasks could be updated and modified at any time based
on the work needs.

مستشفى الهيئة الملكية بينبع Royal Commission Medical Center Yanbu
تأسست الهيئة الملكية للجبيل وينبع بموجب مرسوم ملكي أصدره جلالة الملك خالد بن عبدالعزيز آل سعود ـ يرحمه الله - في 16 رمضان عام 1395هـ الموافق 21 سبتمبر عام 1975م. وجاء في المرسوم الملكي: (تشكل هيئة ملكية لتنفيذ خطة التجهيزات الأساسية اللازمة لإعداد منطقتي الجبيل وينبع كمنطقتين صناعيتين ويكون لهذه الهيئة شخصية معنوية مستقلة). كما خصصت للهيئة الملكية ميزانية مستقلة لتنفيذ أعمالها. The Royal Commission for Jubail and Yanbu was established as per a Royal Decree issued by HM King Khalid - May Allah have mercy upon him - in 21 September 1975 (16 Ramadan 1395H). The Royal Decree read “A Royal Commission shall be formed to execute the necessary infrastructure plan for the preparation of Jubail and Yanbu Cities as industrial areas. The Commission shall have an independent legal personality”. An independent budget was dedicated for the Royal Commission.
