Purchasing Section Head

- Adhere to RC and governmental rules and regulations.

- To participate in preparing the annual plan for purchasing section and supply department as well.

- To set goals and objectives of purchasing section and supply department as well.

- To assist supply department director in preparing master training plan.

- To supervise and monitor purchasing staff for their performance and productivity.

- Maintains contact with sources of supply for negotiation of prices, update of price trends, availability of supplies and new products.

- Maintains close liaison with department heads in matters pertaining to procurement, expediting, shipping details and back order follow-ups.

- Review all the documents of Purchase Order's before finalizing.

- Directs subordinates; conducts on- the- job training; completes employee periodic evaluations; and assists in development of policies and procedures governing the activities of the department.

WORK EXPERIENCE:

- Minimum of 6 years’ experience in Supply and Purchasing or related fields.

- English proficiency (written and verbal)

- Computer literate

- An equivalent combination of experience, education and training which provides the desired knowledge, skills and abilities.
