Job Description

Take and transcribe dictation and type reports, records, patient histories, surgical procedure documents and miscellaneous correspondence from rough drafts, corrected copy, dictated notes or transcribing machine recordings; compile and type special medical reports; proofread medical reports to ensure accuracy and completeness. Produce work within the required timeframe. Initiate and maintain confidential medical files and records. Ability to operate word processing equipment, dictation and transcription equipment, and other equipment as specified. Edit as necessary and return reports in either printed or electronic form to the dictator for review and signature, or correction. Perform data entry and data retrieval services, providing data for inclusion in medical records and for transmission to physicians. Produce medical reports, radiology reports, laboratory reports, correspondence, records, patient-care information, statistics, medical research, and administrative material. Transcribe dictation for a variety of medical reports such as patient histories, physical examinations, emergency room visits, operations, chart reviews, consultation, and/or discharge summaries. Set up and maintain medical files and databases, including records such as x-ray, lab, and procedure reports, medical histories, diagnostic workups, admission and discharge summaries, and clinical resumes. Review and edit transcribed reports or dictated material for spelling, grammar, clarity, consistency, and proper medical terminology. Organize and prioritize assigned work, and schedules time to accommodate work demands, turn-around time re wiremen’s, and commitments. Serve as a race tiniest as and when required. Ensure the department has an adequate supply of stationary items at all times. Answer tele phone calls and deals with subse went actions from the call.

Skills

Knowledge of medical transcription guidelines and practices.

Microsoft Office Computer Skills.

Excellent written and oral communication skills in English.

تأسست الهيئة الملكية للجبيل وينبع بموجب مرسوم ملكي أصدره جلالة الملك خالد بن عبدالعزيز آل سعود ـ يرحمه الله - في 16 رمضان عام 1395هـ الموافق 21 سبتمبر عام 1975م. وجاء في المرسوم الملكي: (تشكل هيئة ملكية لتنفيذ خطة التجهيزات الأساسية اللازمة لإعداد منطقتي الجبيل وينبع كمنطقتين صناعيتين ويكون لهذه الهيئة شخصية معنوية مستقلة). كما خصصت للهيئة الملكية ميزانية مستقلة لتنفيذ أعمالها. The Royal Commission for Jubail and Yanbu was established as per a Royal Decree issued by HM King Khalid - May Allah have mercy upon him - in 21 September 1975 (16 Ramadan 1395H). The Royal Decree read “A Royal Commission shall be formed to execute the necessary infrastructure plan for the preparation of Jubail and Yanbu Cities as industrial areas. The Commission shall have an independent legal personality”. An independent budget was dedicated for the Royal Commission.
