- Follow all organizational policies and procedures, and be competent in all section operational procedures
- Assist the Anesthesiologist in all anesthesia locations in preparing the patient for examination and completing the necessary documentation required.
- Store medications according the Medication Management Plan.
- Dispense and prepare medication under supervision of the Anesthesiologist, according to competency and on physician order.
- Knowledge of anesthesia procedures, possible side effects and complications in order to carry out all tasks.
- Operate the anesthesia equipment, analyze related results and participate in the following procedures, as per competency.
- Consult the operating theater schedule to determine the supply and equipment needs for procedures; prepare anesthetizing locations for indicated procedure to include setting up and calibrating monitoring devices; troubleshoot anesthesia equipment malfunctions, routing non-functional equipment to the Biomedical Department for repair.
- Assist the anesthesiologist using aseptic or sterile technique with non-invasive patient procedures including peripheral and/or central intravenous and/or arterial line placement; airway management techniques including masks, endotracheal and/or emergency methods and regional anesthesia techniques.
- Assist with patient laboratory tests and results including, but limited to, ABG’s, ACT’s and other point of care tests (POCT). Obtain blood products ensuring items are ready for the anesthesiologist to prepare and administer. Demonstrate commitment to the values, mission and vision of the RCHSP and, within this, to the Clinical Support Services goals and objectives. Display and foster integrity and honesty through the promotion of mutual trust and respect.

برنامج الخدمات الصحية للهيئة الملكية بالجبيل Royal Commission Health Services Program In Jubail
تأسست الهيئة الملكية للجبيل وينبع بموجب مرسوم ملكي أصدره جلالة الملك خالد بن عبدالعزيز آل سعود ـ يرحمه الله - في 16 رمضان عام 1395هـ الموافق 21 سبتمبر عام 1975م. وجاء في المرسوم الملكي: (تشكل هيئة ملكية لتنفيذ خطة التجهيزات الأساسية اللازمة لإعداد منطقتي الجبيل وينبع كمنطقتين صناعيتين ويكون لهذه الهيئة شخصية معنوية مستقلة). كما خصصت للهيئة الملكية ميزانية مستقلة لتنفيذ أعمالها. The Royal Commission for Jubail and Yanbu was established as per a Royal Decree issued by HM King Khalid - May Allah have mercy upon him - in 21 September 1975 (16 Ramadan 1395H). The Royal Decree read “A Royal Commission shall be formed to execute the necessary infrastructure plan for the preparation of Jubail and Yanbu Cities as industrial areas. The Commission shall have an independent legal personality”. An independent budget was dedicated for the Royal Commission.
