Job Description
BASIC PURPOSE OF THE JOB:
Ensures standard patient care and works towards completing his/her sub-specialty training in management of critical cases.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
EDUCATION:
- Graduate of an accredited medical school
- Finished 3 years in a Saudi Residency Training program or an equivalent Residency program accredited by SCHS, OR having master's degree in the same specialty or an equivalent Post-Graduate degree.
- Should be certified or certifiable by Saudi Commission for Health Specialties.
WORK EXPERIENCE:
- At least two years of practice in his/her specialty after the post-Graduate degree.
- No need in completing the training program for the Saudi Residency Program or an equivalent residency program.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Exercise full clinical and other working tasks under a Consultant’s responsibility and with admitting privileges if assigned to him/her by the Consultant.
- Contribute to the implementation of Medical Staff Bylaws, Rules and Regulations and Policies and Procedures that guide and support the provision of services.
- Perform daily rounds, update progress notes, and ensure timely and complete documentation in Medical Records and dictates and writes discharge summaries.
- Supervise patient care and other services provided by his/her Junior Staff.
- Educates patient and/or family about the treatment plan of management.
- Write orders and prescribe medications without restrictions, but without defying Hospital Rules.
- Perform diagnostic or therapeutic invasive procedures for which he/she is specifically privileged.
- Assists and Conducts Out-patient Clinic(s) and admits patients under the consultant concerned and follows Departmental Policies.
- Participate in maintaining optimal patient-doctor relations and share in informing/involving patients and/or families regarding patient’s medical condition and treatment plan.
- Attend and participate in Medical Staff Programs, Conferences and other relevant Academic Activities.
- Serve on Departmental/Hospital-wide committees as requested.
- Shall remain in Hospital while on duty and take care of emergencies as and when they arise.
- Actively participate in the on-going performance improvement of Clinical Services.

برنامج الخدمات الصحية للهيئة الملكية بالجبيل Royal Commission Health Services Program In Jubail
تأسست الهيئة الملكية للجبيل وينبع بموجب مرسوم ملكي أصدره جلالة الملك خالد بن عبدالعزيز آل سعود ـ يرحمه الله - في 16 رمضان عام 1395هـ الموافق 21 سبتمبر عام 1975م. وجاء في المرسوم الملكي: (تشكل هيئة ملكية لتنفيذ خطة التجهيزات الأساسية اللازمة لإعداد منطقتي الجبيل وينبع كمنطقتين صناعيتين ويكون لهذه الهيئة شخصية معنوية مستقلة). كما خصصت للهيئة الملكية ميزانية مستقلة لتنفيذ أعمالها. The Royal Commission for Jubail and Yanbu was established as per a Royal Decree issued by HM King Khalid - May Allah have mercy upon him - in 21 September 1975 (16 Ramadan 1395H). The Royal Decree read “A Royal Commission shall be formed to execute the necessary infrastructure plan for the preparation of Jubail and Yanbu Cities as industrial areas. The Commission shall have an independent legal personality”. An independent budget was dedicated for the Royal Commission.
