Job Description
Basic Purpose of the Job:
To exercise the highest possible standard of patient care according to his clinical privileges and available resources.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
· Provides the highest attainable standard of medical care for the patients for whom he/she is responsible..
· Participates in the on-call duties as required by the department/division.
· Perform daily rounds, update progress notes or countersign Residents’ Notes.
· Participates in the improvement of quality of patient care (Total Quality Management Program, Quality Assessment Improvement Program) as applicable.
· Educates patient and or family about the treatment plan of management.
· Participates in the forward planning, and further development of the department/division.
· Performs other applicable tasks and duties assigned within the realm of his/her knowledge, skills and abilities, within the hospital and/or affiliated medical facilities.
Job Requirements:
Education:
- Graduate of an accredited medical school.
- Saudi Board or an equivalent like, American, Canadian Board, Australian, CCST or CCT for Europe, or other degrees qualify for consultant grade after the required years of experience and considering that the duration of training for these qualifications is not less than three years.
- Fellowship or equivalent in Adult Neurology.
- Should be certified or certifiable by Saudi Commission for Health Specialties
Work Experience:
- Experience is not less than three years after obtaining the required qualification such (Saudi Board or an equivalent) and not less than 5 years for other qualification qualify for consultant grade as per Saudi Council manual.
- Training in subspecialty programs through structured training in an accredited educational institution, of not less than one year,and should include a final certification examination.

برنامج الخدمات الصحية للهيئة الملكية بالجبيل Royal Commission Health Services Program In Jubail
تأسست الهيئة الملكية للجبيل وينبع بموجب مرسوم ملكي أصدره جلالة الملك خالد بن عبدالعزيز آل سعود ـ يرحمه الله - في 16 رمضان عام 1395هـ الموافق 21 سبتمبر عام 1975م. وجاء في المرسوم الملكي: (تشكل هيئة ملكية لتنفيذ خطة التجهيزات الأساسية اللازمة لإعداد منطقتي الجبيل وينبع كمنطقتين صناعيتين ويكون لهذه الهيئة شخصية معنوية مستقلة). كما خصصت للهيئة الملكية ميزانية مستقلة لتنفيذ أعمالها. The Royal Commission for Jubail and Yanbu was established as per a Royal Decree issued by HM King Khalid - May Allah have mercy upon him - in 21 September 1975 (16 Ramadan 1395H). The Royal Decree read “A Royal Commission shall be formed to execute the necessary infrastructure plan for the preparation of Jubail and Yanbu Cities as industrial areas. The Commission shall have an independent legal personality”. An independent budget was dedicated for the Royal Commission.
