Registered Nurse (ICU)

Brief description:

Provision of safe patient and family focused quality care utilizing the nursing process. Demonstrates leadership competencies while in charge.  Contributes to the successful achievement of the Nursing Services and hospital strategic goals and objectives.

Detailed Description:

• Acts as an advocate for patients and families.
• Demonstrates transcultural principles in nursing practice.
• Assesses, plans, implements and evaluates patients utilizing the Nursing Process upon admission, each shift, and with changes in patient condition. 
• Provides education for patients and families based on assessment.
• Administers all medications, narcotics and controlled drugs and infusions only with a physician’s order.
• Assists physicians with a variety of procedures according to physician’s privileges.
• Promotes a safe environment and safe patient care by embracing a safety culture identifying areas of risk. 
• Complies with policies for personal and patient safety and for prevention of healthcare associated infections.
• Performs other related duties within the realm of his/her knowledge and skills.

Job Requirements:

Minimum Bachelor Degree in Nursing.

Minimum of one year of experience as a Registered Nurse.

A valid license from Saudi commission for health specialties.

BLS Provider.

ACLS Provider.
