Clinical Psychologist

- Exercise clinical psychology and other working tasks under a Consultant’s responsibility.

- Contribute to the implementation of clinical Staff Bylaws, Rules and Regulations and Policies and Procedures that guide and support the provision of services.

- Participate in Multi-Professional Review meetings.

- Supervise patient care and other services as advised by the supervising consultant.

- Write care plan and conduct psychological therapeutic intervention.

- Perform diagnostic or therapeutic procedures for which he/she is specifically privileged .

- Assists and Conducts Out-patient Clinic(s) under the consultant concerned and follows Departmental Policies.

- Participate in maintaining optimal patient-doctor relations and share in educating/informing/involving patients and/or families regarding patient’s psychological condition and treatment plan.

- Attend and participate in Clinical Staff Programs, Conferences and other relevant Academic Activities.

- Serve on Departmental/Hospital-wide committees as requested.

- Shall be available to the Hospital while on duty and take care of emergencies as and when they arise and report to the responsible consultant.

- Computer literate.
